About me

With over two decades of experience in keyboard performance, I enjoy performing within a wide range of musical genres and contexts, including solo, chamber, jazz, historical informed performance practice, musicals, and avant-garde/newly-composed music.

As a student of Dr. Andrew Willis at the University of North Carolina I studied historically-informed performance practice on period instruments while also delving into Modern and contemporary compositions. In addition to a consistent focus on solo repertoire, I am an accomplished collaborative pianist that has performed with highly skilled chamber ensembles, instrumentalists, vocalists, and choral ensembles.

I am a well-read educator, having taught class piano at the college level, directed vocal and handbell choirs, studied Music Theory and Ear Training pedagogy, and provided private piano instruction.

While not practicing, I enjoy trail running, cooking, exploring oenology, and picking up coding skills.
